Good morning! As always I give thanks to be able to give my best effort to bring authentic wholeness teachings and practices together with internet potentialities.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the shoulders are considered to be linked to the Gallbladder and Liver systems. It is said that one can “carry the weight of the world on your shoulders” - this points to the spiritual idea that the shoulders can carry emotional weight in the body. When out of balance, the shoulders can cause pain, discomfort, structural issues, arm problems, and more.

I had never heard of "frozen shoulder syndrome" before hearing some of Master Sha's students talking about how terribly painful and debilitating this is.

Frozen shoulder, also known as Adhesive Capsulitis, is a condition where the shoulder capsule surrounding the shoulder joint becomes stiff and in turn causes pain in the shoulder. It is a relatively common cause of disabling shoulder pain and dysfunction. Although it is not as common as a rotator cuff problem, the pain it causes is typically much more severe."

This, and other causations like arthritis, overuse, inflammation, and injury can impede a person's journey through life. You usually don't know how much you use a thing until it hurts.
