Guan Yin Speaks. Day 30, The lighted Path.

“Even though there appears to be darkness, the lighted path is always there.”

So Po Mo Hu Xie Tuo Ye,

Da Bei Zhou Buddha

“Greetings! This is Guan Yin speaking.

This guidance came to the being that is flowing this teaching, this morning in meditation practice.

“Even though there appears to be darkness, the lighted path is always there. You must go forward with persistence and faith. Do not look to the left or right, do not look down. Do not look down. Sometimes the path is razor thin, sometimes wider, but keep your feet upon it.”

We know beloveds, what you go through. I know that you experience physical challenges, mental fog, inertia, and karmic relationships. We see your hearts, we know your hearts.

The above guidance is the true value of establishing a spiritual practice of chanting, prayer, service and study that you do every day. EVERY DAY. Without fail. Even missing one day, you can see a slippage in your attention, and the quality of your energy and frequency. This is what is meant by moving steadily forward in your Tao Xiu Lian practice, your deeper and deeper purification. For it takes a pure and open heart to feel the impulse of the Divine within.

Daily practice helps us to be disciplined in all our ways, not only spiritual pursuits. Humility is generated when we don’t talk about it with others, we just do it. Not for admiration, but for true humbleness in the presence of the Infinite Divine Beloved that is the overarching reality of the spiritual life.

When a practice is deeply ingrained in your entire being, it can be the first thing that emerges when life throws something at you. When a conflict arises, involving you or someone near you, one might chant Love Peace and Harmony immediately to defuse the anger. If there is an accident or a sudden illness, any crisis at all, your first instinct might be to call upon me, and chant my mantra, and peace may descend, healing may come to pass.

This instant reliance on the holy ones that walk with you, and the practices you have instilled in your being can save your life, and other lives as well.

This is the lighted path.

There have been beings on the earth who have walked through flood and fire, war, famine, disease, and emerged whole. Perhaps they were enlightened ones, or supernatural beings. Maybe those people were possessed of such unshakable faith that no dark thing could touch them. They moved through the illusion of the mortal experience, and came out the other side. They beheld the path, kept their eyes up, and kept going. You also must do this. By your example, many could be saved. By shining your own perfect light, you will bring light.

Don’t look down, don’t waver. Keep moving forward with perseverance. Stay on the path. What is the reward? Unity with Tao, with the Source. Is there anything else you could possible want?
