Guan Yin speaks. Day 6, what chanting can do for you.

"This is Guan Yin speaking.

All words and thoughts have their own energy, frequency, and light. That statement alone should tell you what's next here.

One of the earth's light beings, Dr. Deepak Chopra once said,

"If you want to know what your life is going to look like in 5 years, look at what you are thinking right now."

This is correct. The Buddha was correct when he said,

"What you think is what you become."

If your thought pattern is one of continuous negativity, judging, complaining, and comparing, how is that going to manifest into peace and happiness?

If you are often expressing anger in any of its countless expressions, do you think this will make you lovable? Look at your mental atmosphere, is it permeated with fear and worry, self-doubt, constant aimless monkey mind chatter? There is another sentiment on the earth plane that is true,

"If you keep repeating the same action over and over, expecting a different outcome, that is the definition of insanity."

The trouble is that humans are programmed from birth to express in this way. It is the nature of a dark group consciousness that can be a challenge to rise up from. Since most people are unable to stop thinking, it becomes necessary to replace that entrenched habit with something better. That better thing can be chanting.

As mentioned above, all words and thoughts carry an energetic charge, a fingerprint. Outcomes come directly from this repeated activity.

So what do we replace low energy words and thoughts with? The beauty of chanting is that it can be tailored to each being perfectly. Not into eastern practice? Then find a Jesus mantra. What did Jesus say? Love one another, don't hurt each other, serve and bless each other. If you simply chanted

"Jesus loves me, and Jesus is love."

for an hour a day, how would that make you feel, do you think?

Chanting, to be effective in raising our thoughts, purifying our beings, must be pure and high frequency in nature. You can look on the internet and find thousands of good mantras, or create your own, just so they come from love and high spiritual intention. The names of holy beings are wonderful to chant, as you are aligning yourself with their Divine nature.

Who is an illuminated spiritual being?

You could choose the Buddha, myself Guan Yin Ling Hui Sheng Shi, Amitaba Buddha of infinite light (AhMiTuoFo), Krishna, Archangel Michael, St. Francis, all are perfect. How about a sacred text? The great Heart Sutra? The Lord's prayer? The Da Bei Zhou Compassion Mantra? These require a bit more effort, but my goodness the results you would reap!

Make a song of it, so that it is something that plays in your head and heart all day, even when you're doing something else. Learn to identify toxic, harmful thoughts and replace them.

Mental discipline is the shovel that can dig you out of a dark hole. Discipline yourself. Chant. Replace all that mud with the lotus of shining thoughts and words.

That is all. I love you."

Flowed through Kristin Strachan. Guan Yin Lineage holder, teacher, student of Master Zhi Gang Sha, spiritual practitioner in Colorado.
